About Us
There are few processes or roles filled with more uncertainty than being an entrepreneur. We know putting one foot in front of the other means progress made toward your vision. Yet, for the entrepreneur to identify and execute those steps, it is difficult to recognize and trust that we do know what to do next. I work with clients using processes I have developed to identify doubt in one’s self, vision and resources, and clear the way to discern, define, and take the next step.
Why is this important?
Entrepreneurship is all about problem-solving. The problem is rarely having no actions to take, but rather knowing which action to take. Often the hurdle limiting us from moving forward is not missing external resources, though it may appear that way, but our own internal perspective on the resources we have. Bringing a vision from an intangible idea to an external reality is one of the most intimately personal struggles you can experience because everything is based on a leap of faith, an intuition that comes from inside you that what you envision is needed. Yet for some reason, we focus all our time on mastering the external process of creating a company or vision - iterative theories, business models, market research, etc. - and no time on mastering the internal processes that drive everything else. We can, and must be just as deliberate about cultivating our intuitive faith because it is the only compass an entrepreneur has on a journey that is, by definition, uncharted. Let's talk about your goals, how I might help, and arrange a session if it feels appropriate. Please reach out to me directly here, or at my email address: [email protected] |
My Own Career Transition
Endorsements
Steve Albers, Sr. Technical Manager, MEMS Gyro Development, Honeywell Inc.
"Millions of dollars were spent on a departing team member's research over the past five years. Lori's facilitation, documentation, and synthesis before he left was a positive process and forum for my team to collaborate and articulate our tangible and intangible project knowledge. Lori's concise summary package helped ensure Honeywell's investment was not lost. The tool is easy to use, ties together key elements of our knowledge, and helps both seasoned and new team members integrate understanding of the project's big picture with the details for which they are responsible." |
Chris Villani, BSME, JD, former COO, Boss Construction
"Lori used her information gathering and synthesizing skills to help us get our arms around very fluid and rapidly evolving technical and administrative processes for building out fiber optic back-haul networks for one of the country's largest cable networks. Her contribution to that effort formed a cornerstone of our operations." |
Michael Maher, Golder Associates, Principal & Global Transportation Sector Leader
"I've seen the results of communications packages prepared by Lori for strategic and business development meetings at Golder Associates and have been blown away. She has been able to capture all key discussions and decisions, irrespective of how technical and complex - and present them in an exciting way. Lori is highly creative, efficient and professional and I look forward to opportunities for working with her in the future." |
Pete Ingraham, Golder Associates Inc, US Transportation Sector Leader & Senior Consultant
"Lori has provided services to myself and my colleagues at Golder Associates for many years. She has organized International and National management meetings and has been instrumental in preparing, facilitating and providing information packages associated with the meetings as well as providing strategies and follow-up for business development programs. Lori is incredibly detail oriented, personable, and creative in developing strategies to bring groups together and focus on tasks and goals. She is inventive and able to provide suggestions that allow people to zero in on getting results. She developed results for several meetings I was responsible for and set the benchmark for future meetings in our company. She is simply fantastic!" |
Brian C. Senefelder, Golder Associates Inc, Global & US Manufacturing Market Sector Leader
"I have had the opportunity to work with Lori in my position as Global and US Manufacturing Market Sector Leader for Golder Associates (a global geotechnical engineering and environmental services firm) for three years. Lori has assisted and supported our team in the following areas:
Lori has a proven ability to listen, document and facilitate the capture of diverse technical concepts as well as business development objectives. She has added value to the development of our business strategies and how we can more effectively communicate our vision and mission, both from an internal company and external client perspective. We have benefitted from her collaborative approach, open-mindedness, and seemingly endless source of energy and optimism. I would highly recommend Lori for her services in communication, training, and strategy development." |
ARW Steele, Author, The Galaxy Boys & The Sphere
"Like an accomplished architect setting out to improve the flow and beauty of a building, Lori separated out each chapter of my manuscript for a nonfiction book (a project very close to my heart) and honored each as its own important element. Lending her devoted attention from the most minor details to the full content and meaning, she edited each "chapter-element" with an unwavering commitment to excellence. Then she put it all back together. And indeed the text flowed better and was more beautiful than before. If Lori is not already a "Master-Architect" at a task that interests her, she soon will be. She will surpass your expectations... yes, even yours." |
